Naruto (top) Sasuke (below Naruto) Sakura (middle) Nine tailed demon foxNaruto Uzumaki: A cheerful and boisterous ninja who aims to become Hokage (leader of Konoha) some day. However, he has a demon nine-tailed fox sealed inside of him and was ostaricized by the villagers of the village due to the fact that the nine-tailed fox almost completely destroyed the village once. He has learned the powerful Rasengan ninjutsu and uses it as his secret weapon. In the end of the Naruto tv series he leaves with Jiraya to train and appears two years later in the new series Naruto Shippuden.
Sasuke Uchiha: Naruto's rival and team member, he is cool and distant. Sasuke can use the eye ninjustsu named Sharingan which is only passed down within his clan. He seeks to kill his brother
Itachi Uchiha who murdered the rest of the Uchiha clan. When in an encounter with Itachi, Sasuke was easily defeated which led to him leave the village and seek help from the mavlevolent and destructive criminal, Orochimaru.
Sakura Haruno: A female ninja and the only female ninja in Naruto's team. She was only skilled in a few jutsu and fighting moves in the beginning, but eventually learns more during the course of the series. In the end of the Naruto tv series she decides to become the pupil of the fifth Hokage. She later appears in the Naruto Shippuden series as a powerful ninja who is capable of causing an earthquake with just her fist.
