The World of Naruto Part Three: Jutsu 2 Recurring Jutsu

Intro: Most of the Jutsu that is performed in the show, is performed only once or is done only by a single person. However, some types of Jutsu are performed often by more then one person. Some of them are Kekkei Genkai, which are ninja techniques that can only be obtained genetically in some clans. Some Kekkei Genkai are eye techniques, while others like ice style jutsu and wood style jutsu are mixtures of two elements of jutsu.

Sharingan: The sharingan is and eye technique that appears in a few members of the Uchiha clan. Unlike many other Kekkei Genkai, the sharingan does not appear at birth, instead it only appears when a potential user is in a life-threatening situation. Sharingan is an eye technique that allows the user to mimic any jutsu the opponent uses as long as the user has the physical ability to perform the jutsu. The sharingan is also capable of allowing a user to track incredibly fast moving objects easily, sometimes allowing the user to predict the movements of the object. The final power of the sharingan is the power of unique kinds of hypnosis, like putting the enemy to sleep, or creating many different illusions. It is possible for a sharingan eye to be transplanted into a non-Uchiha. For example, Kakashi's sharingan eye was transplanted into him by a deceased teammate. A heightened form of sharingan, called the Mangekyo Sharingan, allows the user different more powerful and unique ablilities. However, users of the Mangekyo Sharingan suffer sight loss the more often they use the technique, and usually end up blind unless they kill someone they share a close bond with.

Shadow Clone Jutsu: This jutsu is unlike the other forms of clone jutsu, because it splits the user's chakra among the clones, making each clone a complete copy of the user with a fraction of the user's power. However, this is also a very dangerous type of jutsu, because it drains a person's chakra very quickly. The more dangerous type of this jutsu is the forbidden form, Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu, which allows the user to create any number of clones, as long as they have enough chakra. Naruto is very skilled in this technique, and due to his enormous amount of chakra, he can create thousands of clones at a time.

Rasengan: Rasengan is a techique that relies only on the user's chakra control. It is a very difficult jutsu to learn, and perform so teaching it is divided into three steps where the student learns how to mold there chakra into the shape of a perfect sphere. The creator of the rasengan originally intended to combine rasengan with an elemental chakra, but failed. However, Naruto is successful in combining rasengan with his own wind natured chakra.

Chidori: Chidori is a lighning element based jutsu. It involves the user focusing their chakra into their hand and changing it into lightning. Kakashi's Chidori is sometimes known as Raikiri (lightning blade) because he once cut a lightning bolt in half with it. Kakashi also happens to be the creator of Chidori. Chidori is a very powerful technique, but the enormous amount of chakra it takes to activate limits it's usage to a few each day.

Byakugan: The Byakugan is a Kekkei Genkai that appears naturally in members of the Hyuuga clan. Users of the Byakugan have eyes with no pupils, however when the Byakugan is activated pupils appear and the veins near the eye bulge. The Byakugan allows the user to see for long distances in a near 360 degree radius with a small blindspot at the back of the neck. Users of the Byakugan usually use the Gentle Fist style of fighting with involves attacking an opponent's chakra system stopping the flow of chakra which can kill easily. Byakugan users are capable of using the Gentle Fist style, because they are able to detect an opponent's chakra system, which is invisible to the normal eye.

Intro: Jutsu is a important component of the Naruto franchise. For a ninja to perform jutsu, they must focuse their chakra and perform a pattern of hand seals. Jutsu is classified as either Genjutsu, Ninjutsu, and Taijutsu.

Genjutsu: Genjutsu is a type of jutsu that traps the victim into an illusion. The most common type of Genjutsu are the ones that trap the the victim by causing them to hear, smell, taste,see, or feel something that isn't actually happening. There is a way to counter Genjutsu though. Someone can counter Genjutsu by disrupting their own chakra flow. However it is also possible to break the genjutsu by having a comrade forcefully insert some of their own chakra into the victim's body therefore disrupting the chakra flow of the victim and breaking the Genjutsu. Another way to break Genjutsu is if the victim experiences intense pain or if the victim loses consciousness the genjutsu will end.

Ninjutsu: Ninjutsu is the most common type of jutsu. It allows a ninja to perform things that they wouldn't normally be able to accomplish, like breathing fire. Ninjutsu requires chakra and a combination of hand seals to be activated. Complex styles of Ninjutsu involve controling elements and are classified under the five elements, earth 土遁 Doton, fire 火遁 Katon, lightning 雷遁 Raiton, water 水遁 Suiton,and wind 風遁 Fūton.

Taijutsu: Taijutsu is a type of jutsu that involves martial arts. Unlike Ninjutsu and Genjutsu, Taijutsu is based on a human's regular abilities, like stamina and speed. In some types of Taijutsu, chakra is added to make the technique more powerful, like the Gentle Fist style of fighting.

The World of Naruto Part One: Chakra

Chakra is a key component of the Naruto world. It is the invisble energy force flowing through all living things. It can be harnessed by ninja to perform jutsu. The chakra system is invisible to the naked eye, but can be seen by users of the Byakugan. If a human uses all their chakra there is a good chance they will die. Chakra also comes in different elements. Each individual has an affinity for a

certain type of chakra element. There are five types of elemental chakra, fire, wind, lightning, earth, and water. Each element has a strength and weakness against another element. For example fire is strong against wind, but is weak against water. A person with a certain type of elemental chakra is able to perform high level jutsu of the same element. Some elements are mixtures of two basic elements. For example wood is a mixture of earth and water, while ice is an element made of wind and water.

Some people, like Naruto and Gaara who have tailed beasts in their bodies, sometimes are able to call upon the beasts' incredible unlimited chakra. This gives the person unbelievable strength and enhances the person's normal abilities. However they have absolutely no control over the power, and sometimes it appears against the person's will. During the state when the person has the chakra of the beast, they might kill allies and enemies since they have lost control over their own bodies.

The Sand Siblings

Intro: The Sand Siblings are a group of ninja from the Village Hidden Among Sand. They are siblings with Temari being the oldest, and Gaara being the youngest. They first appeared during the biannual ninja exams as antagonists, but later return as allies do to the influence of Naruto Uzumaki.

Temari: Temari is the oldest of the three siblings. Unlike her more combat-loving brothers, Temari values peace, and is very sensible in nature. She carries a large iron fan which she wields during battle to cause huge gusts of wind and for performing ninjutsu and genjutsu. Temari is skilled at identifing an opponents skills and weaknesses soon after a battle starts.

Kankuro: Kankuro is the middle sibling of the three siblings. He used to disagree with Gaara, but held himself in check in the fear of being killed. However, when Gaara begins revealing his dreams and hopes to Kankuro, he becomes protective of Gaara and readily risks his life to save him when Gaara is kidnapped. During battle, Kankuro uses his chakra to control puppets that are filled with weapons and poison. His puppets are Crow, Black Ant, and Salamander.

Gaara: Gaara is the youngest of the three siblings. His father originally intended to make him into a military weapon by sealing the one-tailed Shukaku (racoon-dog) sand spirit into him. However Gaara was tormented by his fellow villagers for being the host of a tailed beast. After one of his few remaining relatives tried to kill him, Gaara developed a violent personality, killing others to affirm the value of his existence. During battle, Gaara can break up rocks and minerals in the ground to create sand which he uses to perform his sand based jutsu. He also keeps a set amount of sand in the gourd on his back, which is a special type of sand he pours large amounts of chakra into.

Kiba Inuzuka: Kiba is characterized by dog-like traits. He is able to modify his abilities at the start of a battle like growing claws and running on all four feet. He is fiercely loyal to his own ninja dog, Akamaru. Kiba also has a drastically increased sense of smell which he can use to track things beyond a normal human's reach.

Akamaru: He is Kiba's ninja dog and Kiba's best friend. He is always seen with Kiba and together they can perform a variety of different jutsu. In the "Naruto" tv series, Akamaru is quite small and can fit in Kiba's shirt. However in "Naruto Shippuden" tv series, Akamaru grows large enough for Kiba to ride on.

Tsunade: Also known as the Fifth Hokage, she is a bad-tempered woman that is often seen in the anime shouting, yelling, and kicking things out the window. She is also a gambler with bad luck. On the rare case when she has a winning streak, she sees it as a bad omen. She is able to direct her chakra into a certain part of her body, making her able to crumble buildings and walls with just her fist. Her wide array of healing abilities is also quite impressive. However, she is usually greatly offended when somebody calls her an "old granny" or and "old bag" to this she usually starts having a temper tantrum. Though she is in her fifties she always takes on the appearence of a twenty year old lady.

Jiraiya: He is one of Naruto's teachers and has a exceptionally strange personality. He describes himself oddly enough as "super pervert" and Naruto refers to him as "pervy sage". However in the Naruto world he is commonly refered to as "Toad Sage" due to the number of toad jutsu that he performs. He is also the author of his own adult romance book series which is best-selling. He often spends his time drinking wine and talking to young ladies.

Ino Yamanaka: A female ninja who uses jutsu that takes control of the opponen's body. She was Sakura's best friend in childhood, but the friendship ends when Sakura and Ino discover that they both have feelings for Sasuke. However the two girls eventually make amends and start there friendship again but they still remain competitive.
Kakashi Hatake: He was the leader and sensei of Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke until Sasuke left the village and Naruto left to train with Jiraya. In Naruto Shippuden he becomes the leader of Team Kakashi treating Naruto and Sakura as equals. Although he usually hides it behind his mask, Kakashi has one normal eye and one Sharingan eye that he gained when one of his teamates died. He is usually late for almost everything and has a laidback nature.
Orochimaru: He was a former ninja of Konoha and a student of the third Hokage. His teamates were Tsunade and Jiraya. However since he wished to become immortal he conducted experiments on other ninja. He eventually flees and joins the criminal organization, Akatsuki. After attacking one of the other members of Akatsuki, Itachi Uchiha who defeats him he flees and conquers his own ninja village. His immortality technique involves transferring bodies every three years and he decided his next host should be Sasuke.

Hinata Hyuga: A quiet female ninja who lacks self-confidence and has a crush on Naruto. She comes from the Hyuga clan and can utilize the clan's Byakugan technique which allows her to see anything within 360 degrees and a 50 metre radius. In an effort to impress Naruto she later on hones her ninjutsu and Byakugan so that she can block anything and attack the opponent with sucessful rapid strikes using her palms. Her father actually thought her useless to the clan and sends her away to become a ninja, but later takes an interest in her training.
Neji Hyuga: Hinata's cousin who comes from the same clan and can also perform the Byakugan. He is excellent at the Hyuga clan's gentle fist technique with involves directly hitting an opponent's chakra network. Though he was claimed the child prodigy of the Hyuga clan he could never learn the clan's secret techniques due to the fact that he was born into one of the clan's lower houses. In the beginning he hated all members of the head family until Naruto defeated him. He then starts to hone friendships with members of the head family.
TenTen: A weapons specialist who believes a female ninja is equally as strong as any male ninja. She overwhelms her opponents by shooting at them with a hundred different waepons and with pinpoint accuracy as well. In Naruto Shippuden she starts to use explosives as well. TenTen uses her weapons to help Neji train and she holds him in high regards, because none of her weapons ever make contact with him.

Naruto Uzumaki: A cheerful and boisterous ninja who aims to become Hokage (leader of Konoha) some day. However, he has a demon nine-tailed fox sealed inside of him and was ostaricized by the villagers of the village due to the fact that the nine-tailed fox almost completely destroyed the village once. He has learned the powerful Rasengan ninjutsu and uses it as his secret weapon. In the end of the Naruto tv series he leaves with Jiraya to train and appears two years later in the new series Naruto Shippuden.
Sasuke Uchiha: Naruto's rival and team member, he is cool and distant. Sasuke can use the eye ninjustsu named Sharingan which is only passed down within his clan. He seeks to kill his brother
Itachi Uchiha who murdered the rest of the Uchiha clan. When in an encounter with Itachi, Sasuke was easily defeated which led to him leave the village and seek help from the mavlevolent and destructive criminal, Orochimaru.
Sakura Haruno: A female ninja and the only female ninja in Naruto's team. She was only skilled in a few jutsu and fighting moves in the beginning, but eventually learns more during the course of the series. In the end of the Naruto tv series she decides to become the pupil of the fifth Hokage. She later appears in the Naruto Shippuden series as a powerful ninja who is capable of causing an earthquake with just her fist.

Mai: A Fire Nation general's daughter. One of Azula's best friends from childhood. She has no bending talents, but is a master with shuriken daggers. Her pinpoint accuracy is deadly and she never misses. Eventually, though she betrays Azula and the Fire Nation by helping and saving Zuko. Mai did not refuse to fight Azula when she was interrograted though she would have probably lost.

Ty Lee: A Fire Nation girl that is Azula's other best friend from childhood. She has no bending talents and uses no weapons, but she fights by hitting the enemy's pressure points in a series of rapid successful blows. This renders the opponent unable to bend or sometimes unable to move. She also betrays the Fire Nation and Azula by using her talents to render Azula useless and break up a fight between Azula and Mai.

Sokka: Katara's older brother thats pretty much the comedian in the group. He had no talents except for using his boomerang in the beginning, but later on masters the art of sword fighting, and makes his own sword out of meteorite. His sword which is black not silver has been seen cutting through metal easily, and seems to be sharper than most other swords.

Zuko: Azula's older brother. He was banished at and forced to capture the avatar before he could ever go back to the Fire Nation and redeem himself as heir to the Fire Nation. Later on he realizes that he's free to change his own destiny, he joins up with Aang and the gang. He then becomes Aang's firebending teacher and a powerful ally.

Azula: Zuko's younger sister that was declared a child prodigy at an early age. She is able to bend lightning adn a hotter blue fire. Cruel and merciless she was set on killing Zuko and Aang until the betrayal of her two best friends. Then she went mad, especially when she started banishing everyone in the Fire Nation that was under her control in the fear they might betray her like her two best friends.

Katara: A young waterbender who is the last waterbender in her tribe. After extensive training with Master Pakkun, she became better at her art. She is caring and loving while also having a healing talent she has used to heal the group's injuries. She is also Sokka's younger sister, and Aang's waterbending teacher.

Aang: A 112 year old avatar. Actually 12, but Aang was frozen in a state of suspended animation for 100 years in an iceberg. When in extreme emotional stress or fatal danger he is able to induce the avatar state, a state that allows incredible amounts of power but also leaves Aang extremely weak and fatigued after. He is the last remaining member of the Air Nomads and hates war, violence, and killing, but is forced in the end to fight the Fire Lord and take his firebending away to save the world fron destruction.

Toph: A blind earthbender who "sees" by sensing the vibrations in the earth when a person moves or attacks. She was pretending to be the "Blind Bandit" when Aang and the gang found her and she eventually escapes from her sheltered life, and starts to teach Aang earthbending. She also later on, masters one of her greatest weakness', "seeing" in sand due to the fact that vibrations are shaky in sand. She has a tough exterior but seems to care on the inside. Toph's memory is good enough that she never forgets a person's voice.

TIME FOR NARUTO HAS COME!!!!

These are some pics I got of the internet. I kinda like them a bit. There kinda cool.

This is kinda the time for Naruto fans. The T.V. series, Naruto Shippuden is mooving along, but I suggest you buy the Manga. It moves at a faster pace. The newest movie, Naruto Shippuden movie 2 Bonds has the japenese fans geared up for lots of action, but it will be a bit longer well actually a lot longer before the movie comes out in North America. We'll all have to be a bit more patient.

I Play the Trumpet. BOOOO!!!!!!

This Morning was band practice. I don't really like it but my MOM made me do it. I play the trumpet. I have no idea why I'm posting this. If you check Monica the Star's blog, she mentions something about wanting to join band. Monica: Beware!!! Whatever happens, I don't really care. Just don't get a brass instrument. WARNING: BRASS INSTRUMENTS ARE HAZARDOUS TO YOUR HEALTH!!!!!!!!!
